LEGO teamed up with hypercar maker Bugatti to create this incredible 1/8th scale, 3,599-piece replica of the Chiro and features details like an active rear wing, a working suspension, gearbox, and a W16 engine with pistons that move.
The talent at LEGO got everything right, from the blocky LED lights, wide light bar at the rear and the trademark horseshoe design. Take a look under the hood and you’ll find a moving piston engine that’s hooked up to a realistic 8-speed sequential transmission. Making it as fully functional as possible, the transmission can be shifted by the paddles on the driver’s side. The interior has detailed seats and instruments, and there’s even some Chiron luggage that fits under the trunk where there exists a unique serial number.
This ultimate man toy comes from the building block company’s Technic line of advanced models. Once all 3599 pieces have been assembled in a 5-10 hour build time, you can revel at the 1:8 scale model of the Bugatti Chiron.
The original Bugatti Chiron costs close to $3,000,000, the LEGO is now available for $349.
