Filmmakers Will Pattiz and Jim Pattiz aka More Than Just Parks spent 14 days capturing the various ecosystems of Death Valley National Park. They take us on a spectacular journey through one of America’s great natural wonders.
While conditions in Death Valley can be unforgiving, the size of the park also posed a unique problem for filming it. At 13,628 square kilometers, it is the largest National Park in the contiguous United States. “I think we put more research and planning into this park than maybe any other we’ve done before,” Jim Pattiz explains. “That allowed us to make really great use of our time there and come away with what we feel is a great representation of the park.”
This video is utterly breathtaking and continues to remind us why the parks are such wonderful destinations.
