Alessandro Pautasso aka Kaneda is a graphic designer and illustrator whose specialty lies in vector art and mixed media with showering fragments of scintillating color. Known for his energetic style of abstract geometric shapes in vivid colors, it was when Alessandro discovered an illustration book about the Beatles by Alan Aldridge that he realized that he wanted to actually become a designer/illustrator.
Attracted by the visual arts, he started working in the field of commercial art and simultaneously focused on the so-called digital art. Portraits are always present in his works. He breaks down the faces in abstract geometric shapes with strong vibrant colors. Alessandro Pautasso uses his talent in addition to digital programs as adobe Photoshop or adobe illustrator to illustrate his vision.
His favorite stars are iconic movie stars like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. He has a love for Star Wars and has made two whole tribute series dedicated to the franchise. But also seeks inspiration from current science fiction characters such as Eleven from Stranger Things.
He has worked with the New York Times, Adidas, Wired Magazine, Los Angeles Times and many more. His vibrant and colorful works are sure to make your imagination run wild.
