Kew Gardens is set to transform into a magical after-dark explosion of festive color this month. Each year Kew brings together light artists from around the globe to create bespoke pieces for Christmas at Kew.
Christmas at Kew returns for its fifth year with a million sparkling lights and a new route incorporating the Sackler Crossing and the Great Broad Walk Borders, while family favourites such as the Fire Garden and the Palm House lightshow make a welcome return.
Kew Gardens is the prettiest place in London this Christmas. Last night the horticultural wonderland opened its doors to give London’s Instagram community the holy grail of festive shots: the #sparklegram.
In total, there are more than one million lights twinkling, crystals galore, a few art installations and even something called a “scented fire corridor”.
