Starbucks keep their seasonal beverage range secret until the run up to their launch. But Starbucks is different all over the world to better suit the tastes of the locals. Here is a rundown of all the different Starbucks Holiday drinks from all over the world.
Australia: Christmas Tree Peppermint Dark Mocha
A decadent new dark mocha sauce enriched with peppermint for a bright burst of minty, chocolaty joy. Just like a glittering Christmas Tree, each one is finished with green-tea infused whipped cream and colourful candy crystals. It comes hot or Frappuccino-style.
Brazil: Black Forest Frappuccino
Black forest cake — or floresta negra, as it’s known in Brazil — is a holiday staple. Who doesn’t like a good slice of Black Forest cake? Rich chocolate with raspberry flavor is such an excellent match that it would be a shame not to give this Frappuccino a try.
China: Christmas Panettone Latte
There aren’t any Starbucks in Italy yet, so China used the country’s iconic Christmas cake as its own latte flavor. The Italian Christmas sauce with fragrant roasted flavors mixed into espresso, topped with steamed milk, and garnished with mixed dried apples, oranges and cranberries. The creamy, warm and comforting beverage gets you into the holiday spirit.
Germany: Fudge Hot Chocolate
Chocaholics are obsessed with this returning favorite, which is an extra-chocolatey take on Starbucks’ regular hot chocolate. A deliciously creamy, chocolaty blend, topped with whipped cream and golden white chocolate curls.
Indonesia: Praline Mocha
This mocha has taken turns on menus around Europe and Asia, and this year it landed on Indonesia’s. Warm bittersweet chocolate infused with the flavour of hazelnut combined with espresso and steamed milk; finished with whipped cream and drizzled with mocha sauce.
Japan: Raspberry White Chocolate Frappuccino
The beverage features a red-and-white color theme that pays homage to the traditional colours of Santa Claus, conjuring up images of a traditional Christmas. The Raspberry White Chocolate Frappuccino is a cream-based Frappuccino, containing swirls of raspberry sauce. On top is a serving of smooth couverture white chocolate sauce, crunchy pieces of raspberry-flavoured meringue and with tiny flakes of white chocolate pieces designed to resemble white snow.
Korea: Valencia Orange Tea Latte
In Korea, the prettiest holiday drink on the coffee giant’s menu is actually tea-based. This orange and black tea latte comes with a half moon of dried citrus.
Malaysia: Teavana Apple Black Tea
Starbucks closed its Teavana stores earlier this year, but the brand name teas are still available. Malaysia mixed the black tea with apple juice to create a special flavor for the holidays. It’s topped with cinnamon spice foam.
Mexico: Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha Latte
Starbucks uses white chocolate in this mocha, so it’s a little sweeter than the basic one. It comes topped with ribbons of cranberry sauce plus crystallized cranberry sugar.
Singapore: Toffee Nut Crunch Latte
Shots of rich espresso dance together with the heartwarming flavours of buttery Toffee Nut, which are balanced by subtle notes of toasted nuts. The crescendo is a whipped cream peak sprinkled in a crunchy Toffee Nut topping. This nutty latte tastes just like it and is topped with crunchy bits of toffee, too.
Thailand: Vanilla Nougat Latte
Embrace the holidays with the Vanilla Nougat Latte. Smooth nougat sauce dances with velvety steamed milk, bold espresso and rich French vanilla. The festive drink is then finished with a mixed berry drizzle and crunchy strawberry almond nougat candy topping.
United Kingdom: Festive Cold Brew With Orange And Cranberries
Festive Cold Brew is the brand new festive drink for this year, designed to bring a hint of Christmas to Starbucks classic cold brew blend. A touch of syrup is added to the slow-steeped cold brew coffee, and it is then finished with orange and cranberry pieces to bring out subtle Christmas spice flavours.
