Penthouses usually fetch higher prices due to their covetable expansive space, scenic views or indulgent amenities. This luxurious penthouse has all three, and is also the highest residence in Singapore. Supposedly priced at $80 million.
Like a shining beacon of glass and steel, Singapore’s tallest building, the Tanjong Pagar Centre, is roughly 290m high and resides on 3 Wallich Street. Here the super-rich from the less-developed Southeast Asian neighbours, as well as multi-millionaires from mainland China come to live.
Developed by local developer GuocoLand, the Wallich Residence will house 181 residential units on the 39th to 64th floors of Tanjong Pagar Centre which has Tanjong Pagar MRT station right at its doorstep.
The penthouse starts on the 62nd floor, which encompasses all five bedrooms, including master and “junior master” bedrooms. The first level of the home has a private garden, family room and dramatic viewing deck.
Upstairs, the penthouse’s second level has a formal dining room that flows into a 600-bottle wine room, lounge and kitchen. The top floor of the penthouse—and the tower—contains the unit’s private pool, cabana and hot tub. The pool deck is attached to a full bar and kitchen and roof terrace designed for entertaining.
Unique to the residence are the bespoke services offered from expert architects and designers that help tailor the space to the owner’s exact tastes and specifications. From marble floors to high-end appliances, your wish is their command. Amenities include an exclusive concierge service, a private library and observation platforms with stunning views of the Central Business District.
“[The] concierge team assists residents across a complete range of services. Whether it is chartering a yacht or a private jet or arranging a private chef,” according to the listing with Sotheby’s.
While the 1960 square meter triplex is the highest residence in Singapore it turns out there may be at least one other penthouse still in the hands of its developer which has an even higher price tag.
According to the grapevine, SC Global Developments has a S$128 million indicative price for the 1625 square meter super penthouse occupying the top three levels – 23, 24 and 25 – in the Signature Tower of The Marq on Paterson Hill, but SC Global said that the unit is not for sale.
