Awesome good news alert: Supreme and Louis Vuitton’s long-rumored collaboration is now a real thing that actually exists. The French fashion house unveiled the collection at its menswear show in Paris.
Supreme x Louis Vuitton is the most hyped collab of 2017. It’s dropped (on social, that is—the real deal isn’t available until July 17th) for all of, what, a few hours and you’d be hard-pressed not to see it on your feed. The range includes co-branded leather handbags, denim and camo jackets and a number of accessories like scarves, hats, sneakers, a trunk and even monogrammed skateboards. Naturally, the two brands also decided on a range of opulent trunks, which have traditionally been Vuitton’s most esteemed products. The collection incorporates Supreme’s signature red-and-white color scheme and New York-inspired feel.
This might not be the first time you’ve seen Vuitton and Supreme emblems side by side. Back in 2000, Supreme released a range of skateboards and other products featuring the LV print without the French brand’s permission. A lawsuit ensued and as a result, the streetwear brand had to recall all the unsanctioned items within two weeks. Seventeen years later, it seems the brands have reconciled, and they couldn’t have done so at a better time.
The line is rumored to drop on July 17 at select Louis Vuitton stores, as well as from temporary retail locations. Stay posted for more information.[widgetkit id=”5″ name=”supreme louis vuitton”]
